Tate & Lyle has launched Promitor Soluble Corn Fiber, the second fiber in the Promitor range. Promitor Soluble Corn Fiber is a prebiotic fiber that is well-tolerated and has a low glycemic response. It has excellent process and acid stability, and dissolves clear in applications. It is easy to formulate with and can be used to replace traditional sweeteners, such as liquid and dry corn sweeteners, sucrose and sugar alcohols. At only 2kcal/g, Promitor Soluble Corn Fiber can be used to reduce calories while maintaining the texture and body im-parted from nutritive sweeteners.
